Marios Chrysanthou

Managing Director

About Marios

Marios has worked with CRM in the NFP sector for over 20 years. He is also a Chartered Accountant and so he speaks the language of Finance departments the world over.

Having held senior positions within membership organisations implementing CRM, he has experienced the client side of CRM projects. From here he moved to the delivery team of a well-known NFP software provider.

The combination of these experiences inspired Marios to set up a specialist consultancy providing CRM services to the NFP sector. With years of in depth knowledge of how membership organisations function and the shape of their CRM needs, he conceived Bluelight CRM to provide the products to support these needs.

Marios is married and enjoys a good steak and a long run, not necessarily in that order. His ambition is to sleep past 6.30am, but then he remembers that he has small children. Oh well…

Michael Wood

Technical Director

About Michael

Michael is our resident CRM guru. He has worked in CRM for nearly 10 years and in IT for 15. Starting out in a large corporate, he moved on to running his own company so that he could follow his inspiration and code with ambition.

Michael directs the design, analysis, customisation and coding of our CRM solution and of course, he can’t resist getting stuck in on a regular basis. He’s tech through and through and his outside interests include smart home innovations and cryptocurrency.

He is married with two cats (all real, not computer-generated).

James Whitney

Client Services Director

About James

James has spent over 20 years delivering outstanding relationship management to various organisations but has focussed on the NFP sector for the last ten years of those 20.

He and the teams he has managed have formed effective partnerships with hundreds of NFP organisations, including a significant percentage of the top charity and membership organisations in the UK as well as small and medium-sized organisations.

In his spare time, he likes to watch Rugby Union and compete in fundraising cycle challenges.

Rob Dobell

Delivery Director

About Rob

Rob has spent the majority of his career working within the healthcare and non-profit sectors. Starting out on an IT career, he soon established that his passion was in the application of technology for good, an ambition which he pursued through a number of roles aligning technology teams with business needs within those specific sectors. Having served as Head of IT for a membership body, he joined a consultancy dedicated to supporting non-profits through digital change projects, serving as a consultant and senior, then leading the delivery team.

Understanding how fundamental to their success it is for non-profits to have effective technology implemented properly, Rob’s focus is making sure that the specialist Bluelight delivery team have the capacity, tools, knowledge and support they deserve, enabling them to perform at their best level.

Rob is married, and - when he’s not working - you’ll find him cooking, gardening, walking, socialising or travelling. Apparently, he also spends too much time and money watching live music and buying vinyl records…

Emma Chrysanthou

Head of Projects

About Emma

For over 20 years, Emma has held senior Project Management positions in various organisations in the IT, Finance and Education sectors.

She has been at Bluelight for six years, and in her role as Head of Projects, she has created a successful PMO function that puts process and people at the heart of project delivery. She is incredibly proud that every Bluelight project has been delivered on time and within budget.

When not project or child-wrangling, Emma enjoys a glass of champagne and dancing til sunrise.

James Wilcox

Head of Consulting

About James

James has worked in software consultancy since 2007 and in Microsoft Technologies since 2012. Over this time, he has broad experience on projects in functional, technical and data roles across a variety of sectors.

Since joining Bluelight in 2019, he has taken the role of ensuring consistent delivery of projects across the consulting team - and learnt a lot about the NFP sector in the process!

James lives in the countryside with his family and enjoys walking, travelling, and a locally brewed beer.
